Pro Bono Programs
Our Pro Bono Programs are joint efforts between the Legal Aid Society, private attorneys and/or local bar associations. We train, recruit and organize attorneys who want to volunteer their services for low-income families who cannot afford a lawyer. We only take civil cases.
Some of our offices have regularly scheduled times when pro bono attorneys may volunteer. Other offices keep a list of pro bono attorneys and contact them on a case-by-case basis as needed.
